(A) Type of Structure

 

Model GPZ(KZ)GB fixed seismic resistance basin rubber pad is mainly constructed of upper pad, dissipation steel plate, seal ring, rubber plate, bottom basin and damping rubber gasket. & nbsp; GPZ(KZ)    in addition to the construction, model DX one-way action seismic resistant rubber pad has middle steel pate, Teflon slide plate, stainless steel slide plate and sliding device. Seismic resistant principle: dissipation slides when horizontal force of pad is 20% more than design vertical load of pad, playing the role of first-course seismic separation. Thereafter, damping rubber gasket plays the second course damping effect, so the pad resists the vibration. The rigid seismic protection plays the third course seismic resistance effect when seismic impact wave is over certain limit.

 

(B) Pad Performance

 

1. Design Vertical Load Capacity

The design load capacity of the pad of the series is categorized into 31 classes as follows: 0.8, 1.25, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5, 25, 27.5, 30, 32.5, 35, 37.5, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60MN. 10% overload is allowed for design load capacity of pad.

 

2. Design Horizontal Load Capacity

It is possible for fixed pad and one-way action pad to take the horizontal load at 20% of design pad load capacity in all directions and non-sliding direction respectively.

 

3. Friction Coefficient

The design friction coefficient of one-way action seismic resistant pad under the effect of silicon grease is μ=0.03 at least under normal temperature (-25°C - +60°C). The design friction coefficient of cold resistant pad (-40°C - +60°C) is μ=0.06 at least. 

 

4. Turn Pad

The angle for pad turning is allowed to be 0.02rad.
